I come to you today with a heavy heart. I had the honor of capturing this sweet little beauty, Karina, yesterday. Karina was born September 11 via emergency c-section along side of her twin sister Mila. Over night Mila got caught in her ambilical cord. The doctors quickly got mommy into surgery but it was too late. Sweet Mila was gone. Daddy is in the Air Force Reserve, and is in TX for training. He was home for 10 days, but 3 days after the girls were born he had to return to TX. Today, Mila was put to rest. Daddy was not able to be there. I’m writing you through my tears for this young beauty and her family. I can’t even begin to imagine the pain that has fell on this family…the joy for their beautiful 4lb 11oz baby girl Karina…and the sadness for their sweet Mila. And to not be able to be together through this tragic time is even more heartbreaking. I can honestly say that many prayers have been said in our household for this family.

All I could think is how can I help this family. What can I do to help make things go smoother for them. I had NO idea except to Pray. Pray. Pray. I shared this story with my friend Samantha, and prop provider, from Bliss Studios Photography and Design. She had it in her heart to do an auction and 100% of the proceeds go to the Dendy family to assist in Funeral expenses and whatever else that is needed. After approval from mommy, the project is underway!! Several Vendors have volunteered to donate to this auction to help a family in need. Vendors are still being accepted.
